Train Dispatcher

Project is abandoned. It still kinda works, but game server is shut down, so you can't register/login, you have to play as guest. Map workshop also isn't working, so the only way to get maps is by sending them manually.

Train Dispatcher is a puzzle game about... well... Train dispatching! Your goal is to control your station and surroundings (junctions, signals, etc.) to guide passing trains to their correct destinations.

Each map has a defined set of trains, that you must dispatch. Every train has a defined schedule, first it spawns in some of the edges of your network (the rails that fade out, see pictures above) and will drive automatically, braking if there's a red signal or station before them. Next, the train needs to visit all the stations in it's schedule in the correct order and then leave the map using the outer rails again (it's also defined in the schedule, which outer rail it needs to use). You'll get points for each station visit and for a few more events.

For every station, the train has defined arrival and departure time. You need to arrive at the arrival time or earlier. Then the train will wait at least 60 seconds and then leave, if it's the departure time already. For arriving/departing with delay, you'll also lose some points.

You can click a train to get the info about it's schedule, or use the "Alt mode", which is enabled by pressing Alt key. It displays an overlay with some useful info about trains and stations, you can futher configure which info would be displayed by clicking on the gear icon in bottom left corner.

You can move around the map when holding middle mouse button, zoom using the mouse wheel and speed up/slow time using plus and minus keys on numerical keyboard. You can also pause the game using spacebar, to look around and plan.

There's also map editor included, which you can use to create your own maps and even publish them online, if you think they are good.
